Aftermarket Balancer for 388 Stroker
Aftermarket Balancer for 388 Stroker
Building a 388 stroker and need a good balancer
Any good balancers out there besides the ati balancer? Its a little to steep for me to spend on a balancer.
Certain one I should steer clear from?
Thanks guys

Thanks guys. Guess I will be checkin classifieds everyday lol
I got about 2 weeks before I am ready to bolt it on so hopefully one pops up for a fair price.
Thanks again

If price is an issue professional products has a damper thats pretty good and you can get it for about $250 from summit the powerforce plus can spin safely up to 10,000rpms and the regular powerforce up to 6500 I believe and that one is much cheaper I've seen those on ebay brand new for just over $100 you can call up either summit or professional products and they can let you know which one would be best for your application. Just giving you options this is the same damper im using for my motor now and was recommended by my engine builder.

yeah I saw that profesional products one. If I cant find a deal on the ati that could be another option. Im thinking my motor will be turning atleast 7k rpm so may need the more expensive one.
Thanks man

Re: Aftermarket Balancer for 388 Stroker
Whatever u go with make sure it has a key slot if there is a key on ur stroker crank. My stock crank did not have a key so I had to buy the ATI damper when I put the stroker crank in. The ATI damper does have the key slot
Re: Aftermarket Balancer for 388 Stroker
Stay away from that Professional Products Chinese crap, way too many instances of those blowing apart at speed. If you need a good quality damper on a budget you should get a Pioneer (Powerbond) SFI unit.
