I have the 210 Comp Ported LT4 heads installed on my 383. AFR says to use Fel Pro 1406 on their web site but the exhaust ports are not D shaped. Im going to be running Hooker LT's that do not have D shaped ports either. Do I really need to run the 1406 or is there a better gasket out there for my application. I have read that Fel Pros are good, but Its seam like a soft aluminum or copper gaskte would prevent blow out better.

Anyone have any suggestions based on experiance? Thanks James
