AFR 210cc LT4 Race Ready heads

Is anyone using these heads on his 396?
I need info: will I have any trouble with these heads and a 230/236 Comp Cam, as a daily driver. CR=11.3:1
Thanks

I will assume you have an LT1 from the heads you refrence (please make and use a signature so that people can tell what car you have). I will move this to LT1 Tech as a general question like this should be posted there.

Thank you.

It is supposed to be used as a daily driver and not a race car.
Peak Hp should be at about 5900--6000 rpm and fairly good idle.
2600 TC will also be used
What hyd. roller cam would you suggest.

Since your ride will be a daily driver and you want a 6000 rpm peak, you should go with a smaller cc head. This will improve the velocity and low end power. The 230/236 cam would be great with a set of 190cc or 195cc ported heads. You would probably want a larger converter though. Just my .02
