I am in the process of building a 396 with splayes 4 bolt main, fully forged. It will have all of the bolt on's, you know. The only thing right now is that I cant deceide which heads to go with. Should I get my stock heads ported, or should I get a set of afr's. I cant afford to have anything done to the afr's at the moment, but I still want to put down at least 420, but would love to do in the 450 range. I dont know if its possible, but I want to do it. I am pretty sure it wont be a daily driver, so that dosent matter. Please let me know what you all think. Thanks.
