Adverse effects of removing tunnel brace?

Are there any? My exhaust was vibrating against it really bad...so instead of trying to bend it and then putting it back on I removed it. I havent been able to notice any differences in body sway or roll yet.

I've had my removed for a few months now. Can't say I noticed a difference but then again, my swaybar is off so I probably couldn't notice anything if I tried.

Might keep you from doing a driveshaft vault?

also... BMR and SLP make aftermarket tunnel braces to clear bigger exhuast... if you wanted to replace it with an aftermarket piece...
