Advantage of a Digital 6

Is there any advantage of a digital 6 vs a regular MSD?

From what I've been told the OPTI Spark doesn't like either one. Something about DIODE problems......

I dont know much about the digital boxes, but with the cam in my car it runs a TON better and smoother with the 6AL in the car.
