i figured that much, but how can you compare heads flowed at 4.030 bore with heads at a standard bore.
No clue about that one. How much of an effect would it have? Would flowing it at 4.000" make it flow more/less/negligible difference?

Replied, and you're going to be in that car every waking moment to get some miles on her before the racing on Aug 14th

4.030 is a pretty standard bore size used on flow benches for measuring head flow because most that buy aftermarket heads will have this bore size. If you use a 4.000 bore size, you would maybe lose a couple CFM, but with the moderate sized valves in these LT1 heads, you wouldn't lose too much. If I had to guess, probably less than 5 cfm at higher lifts, and even less at the lower lift values.

Dave, were the heads you had AI port, the original LT1 heads off the '97 Firebird?

Also, does/did AI enlarge the oem seat to accomodate the larger Ferrea valves, or were new larger seats installed?

Yep original '97 LT1 castings off my car. To be honest I'm not sure exactly what he does to the seat...I know he had to replace one due to a valve guide problem or something...

I know he didn't have to install larger seats though.
