Adjusting my rr's

What is the best way to do this? I have the intake manifold off as I have just replaced my lifters. Is it easier to adjust them with it off?

Shoebox's website is always a good place to find stuff like this.

Here is a link directly to a procedure on adjusting valve lash: http://shbox.com/1/4th_gen_tech2.html#adjust_valves

Re: Adjusting my rr's

I just finished doing mine. Follow shoebox's site and adjust them the best you can with the engine off. Then fire it up with the valve covers off and readjust them with it running. Losen the set screws on a whole side and tighten the poly-locks by hand until they stop. Do the whole side, then turn the engine off, add your pre-load (I did 1/4 turn past lash, yours may vary depending on rockers and studs), and tigthen your set screw. This worked really well for me.

Just finished. I followed shoebox's site and it worked wonders.

My car runs like it has never run before.
