Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator
Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator
I was looking at the AFPR that they sell at http://www.tpis.com and it mentions that to improve performance you'd want to lower the PSI to 39 PSI. I don't know if they're talking specifically about the '93 LT1 but what would be the recommend PSI to adjust it to consider I would be getting a computer reprogram as well? There's a local place I can get it dyno tuned at as well.
I believe he is talking about a general rule of thumb for the cars as a baseline. I had a link to a guy with a firebird who did an adjustable pressure regulator and gaines 14rwhp, lost the link, I'll see if I can dig it up.
Why not swap in like a 95 computer or something? They are dirt cheap on eBay.
Also what shop is around here locally for tuning?

That's kind of what I guessed. Try and find that link. I am very interested in doing this regulator. Swapping in a 94+ PCM is not as easy as just dropping it in. I would also need to install a MAF and I believe have the entire system reprogrammed, a new wire harness installed, and probably a lot of other things. Plus I'd lose the Speed Density. When I do get a new PCM it will be a F.A.S.T. one. Of course that will be after my storke and turbo install.
I'll PM you about the tuning guy.
