adding a little more power?

I just got a 1994 camaro. 5.7l. I'm looking to get a little bit more power out of it. Is there any ways that you guys figured out that adds some power without a major expense. Any suggestions?

Re: adding a little more power?

Depends on your idea of "major expense."

Most people start with the basics like a cold air induction ($200-$300) and a catback exhaust system ($400-$1000). From there you have tons of options, like headers, suspension, gears, nitrous, etc. Try a search - you'll find an infinite amount of info.

What Joe said, searching here will net days of information on most topics.

Also, buying used can get you more power for less money. Things like headers, catbacks, and cold air kits don't really "wear out", so sometimes you can knock out the bolt on mods for cheap. But be careful who you buy from and what you're buying, it is the internet...
