acceleration isn't good

hi!
I have a '96 Camaro Z28 with 6m and i have done a few mods to it: Grnatelli MAF, Flowmaster American Thunder, K&N CAI.
But i've always had a problem pulling hard in low rpms. For example when i'm in fourth gear at like 1800rpm, and give 50% throttle, it's normal, but when i go full throttle it's as fast as when i'm just opening 50%. There is no difference in acceleration. The only difference is that the car is louder. So it can't be something with the pedal. In higher rpms it's more or less okay (but also not as fast as it should be). I've had it at the dealer and they adjusted something with the throttle body, the problem was gone, but it came back in the next 4 days. Now they say it's the catalytic converters not the TB. I've already changed one catalytic converter because the dealer said it would be clogged. It seems to be better. should i Change the other one also? What should i do
Thank you guys in advance
Alex

At 1800rpm in 4th gear you shouldn't be flooring the pedal, because it's not gonna do a hell of a lot. That's why you have 6 gears.

Got any computer error codes? How is your gas mileage?

yes i know that. I feel that the car wants to accelerate as fast as it always was, but it just can't. Yes i hav an error code that says EGR valve, i'm bringin it to midas in 2 days, let's see what they find out, my gas mileage is about normal 16-17 mpg.
