Has anyone used these before and if you have what was your experience with them? I was thinking of getting some of these for the extra clearance between my plug boots and longtube headers.

 

I ran them...worked great!!! VERY EXPENSIVE !!! They are a platinum plug...so they won't work if you are spraying. Gave me a lot more boot to header clearence.

 

Expensive? I've seen them on Summit for $20 for a set of 8.

 

I run them on my cutlass that had header clearence problems, they worked great. I reallllly dont think they are platinum though??? I dont spray that motor so all i was worried about was the thread and heat range. I think i paid 3-3.50 a peice for em?

 

The ones you saw are for others applications. They ONLY MAKE the plugs for the LT1 in platinum and they are like 7-8 bucks each.

 

Whats the part number for those LT1 accel shorty plugs?
