Accel Optispark plug in!

Okay so i have installed the new accel optispark on my 1995 chevy camaro z28 and now its seems the plug will not fit all the way down into the unit. Any ideas? how to fix it? or am i doing something wrong?

There are different connectors for the unvented (92-94) and vented (95-97) Optis, but you should have the correct connector. Did you by any chance also change the harness?
