Accel opti?

Accel opti?

i just got my new summit in the mail today and it seems to look like accel is making an opti too. its also a c note cheaper than the msd unit.

Thats news to me... it seems the Accel LT1 injectors have a bad reputation on this board, so I wonder if their new opti is going to be any better?

also in the description it stated the housing is cast aluminum maybe thats why is 299 and the MSD is 499 because of the billet housing.I'm wondering if accel is just putting thier name on a GM unit check it out says nothing about uprading the electronics in it http://go.mrgasket.com/newproducts/flyers/NPAccel.pdf

It says it uses a bushing, while the msd unit has a ball bearing. There is one big difference.

Im just wondering why the hell these manufactureres are starting to make stuff for these cars 10 years, and 2 engines (LS1/LS2) later?

Oddly, these days I think you see more LT1's going faster than in olden days.... could be a reason..
