AC Kills my battery

I never use my AC and I did the other day and it seemed alright, but then I get home and shut the car off, I go back out to start it the damn things dead, so I jump it figuring it will return to normal and I stop for gas, Its dead , I go to work and thats about 10 miles from my home, shut it off go out and its dead now the bastard doesnt charge for anything, I think it might be the alternator but im not sure what do you think could be causing this bull****!

Also the battery usualy stays at 13 or a little below, THIS NEVER HAPPEND UNTIL I RAN MY AC!

you can check it with a load tester. get one from your auto parts/hardware store and connect the cables to your battery. then put the load on the car with the car started and if it dies in 15 seconds or so then your batteries shot. also the load tester tells you if its chargine at 14.4 volts i believe. or you can take it to autozone advanced and they can test your alternator and battery inside the car!
