Was also given some blue loctite for my rotor screws, I thought red was high strength but was told blue is for the smaller screws such as what is used for the rotor...

Read the packages....RTV is not a thread sealer. Thread sealer is. GM recommends the Teflon stuff for the water pump bolts.

Loctite references the permanence of the bond desired. Red is permanent, blue is removable. Use red on the rotor screws for best effect.....
