I made in the the 3rd round and lost to an import that cut an .044 light on me.

Re: absolute bone stock z28 back from the track
Im not sure if the B4Cs had a more agressive tune in the PCM from the factory but my friend and I both own 94 B4Cs and his car was babied all its life and never used as a service car, It was 100% stock when he bought it in august of 01 with 50k on it (with the original GSC tires even!) and we took it to the track and it ran a 13.84@100 at 900' with a 2.05 60 foot. I pulled the front half of the air box off descreened the MAF and gutted the cat and he went 13.61@102 with a 2.00 60 foot at the same track. My car on the other hand was used a sevice car by the state police and retired in 98 with 83k on it when the LS1 cars came out. I took it up to the track and ran 4 runs-
13.88@100.6-2.07 60'
13.79@100.9-2.02 60'
13.75@100.8-2.00 60'
13.71@101.1-1.98 60'
My car already had the cat gutted and the front of the air box had been cut off exposing all the filter. I descreened the MAF befor the runs also. I was surprised by the performance of both of these car in stock trim. Another friend of mine has a 97 B4C and he regularly runs 13.7s@100-1 with a CAI and no cats. I figured i would throw my 2 cents in. :P

elevation is prolly around 200' and it was about 56* 60' was 2.10, I stalled to about 1200 or so and absolutely crammed my foot to the floor and bairly spun, track prep was great, 2nd gear spun bairly
my 95 mph run was with the ac on and my 14.39 was off the gas coasting in round 2 at 93mph so its prolly got a 14.1 or 2 in it at 97-98 or so bone stock.
moroso cai and 1le elbow should be here today and my cutout next week.
also gonna go with some 1.7 rockers, k-motion springs and hardened pushrods
might throw a midwent stall in there too 3k style
trying to get mid to high 12s for about $750 N/A

I was gonna poke fun at you for racing with the AC on...then I noticed you were from Texas...I been to Texas...it's hotter than the hubs of hell down their...I would race with the AC on too...seriously though...my local track warns against this because water fromt he condenser drips on the track...you should keep this in mind next time...and your 1/4 is pretty good IMO for stock...

lol that doesnt count, helps with the sucking noise more than anything.
I had the ac on blowing hot air, for some reason I like to do it cause I think it cools the car a little but forgot to turn it off. plus it was cold outside
the next pass was a 10th quicker off the gas so I guess the ac can make you lose at least 2-3 10ths and a few mph.
I was cutting .0xx lights and my worst run was .088 off my dial-in
3rd round I cut a 1.04 light to an imports .044. I was only .052 off the dial and lost. he got lucky
Re: absolute bone stock z28 back from the track
It is my understanding that whenever you have something like 75% throttle, the A/C clutch disengages so basically you aren't running A/C and that wouldn't rob power. I may be wrong but thats what I always thought.
Re: absolute bone stock z28 back from the track
Not bad, w/ a better 60 the car will be around what it should be running, usually a good running 323's cars go anywhere from a 13.8-14.0
