ABS removal question
ok, i'm pulling the abs unit. it's out...
i'm installing a proportioning valve for the rear and a stainless hurst line lock for the fronts.
i've read most people tee the front lines off after the line lock. my line line has outlet ports on it. can't i just hook a line in two and plug the other?
also, i've noticed left front line is a 11-1.5mm. thread and the rear line has a 13-1.5mm thread.
should i cut these off and install new ends and reflare it or find proper adaptors?
i'm having severe difficulty finding any metic brake line adaptors and wanted to have the car on the road this weekend...HELP
another thing...if the ends are metric the line is metric too right? if so will i have prolems finding ends to fit the line properly and seal properly? do i need a metric sized flaring kit?
what kind of bs is this throwing metic fittings in... i wasted a day trying to find adaptors!!
