My car (95 T/A) keeps acting up. As I come to a normal stop the low trac light comes on and the abs pulses. If its not doing that its flashing an abs inop light at me. Then other times its normal. I was told that it could be the abs box and that there are some brass gears in it that tend to wear out? I thought it might be an abs sensor or something. If any of you guys have a clue, please help me out on this, its starting to dirve me nuts. Thanks.

 

Sounds a lot like the way my ABS acted when the sensor in my Strange 12-bolt was not positioned correctly... as the car came to a stop, the sensor signal wasn't strong enough and the ABS would pulse as it lost the signal, taking an extra 5-ft or so to stop. Check the sensor on the differential for loose wire or corrosion. A faulty sensor will turn on the "ABS INOP" light as well.
