"abs Inop", "low Trac", "brake"

okay. a week or so ago my ABS inop light came on, and has stayed on. i tried pulling the pcm fuse, and it is still on.

and yesterday my "BRAKE" light started to flash, so i jiggled the emergency brake lever and it didn't do anything, i pulled it up, let it down, and it' still flashes.

yesterday the "LOW TRAC" light started flashing a long with the brake light.

my car has been possessed by demons.

the low trac and brake light will go off every now and then and stay off for a minute or so, but then they start flashing again.

i feel like i'm driving a ford, having all these freak'n problems.

the car brakes fine and everything, i'm not sure if the ABS is working, i havn't slammed on the brakes or anything to find out. but does anyone know why it would be doing this?

My old camaro used to have a charging problem(underdrive pulley with big stereo...) and whenever I was idling it would drop my voltage down and all my lights would start coming on. The first was always the ABS Inop light......

ofcourse you could just have one of the sensor's bad on one of the brakes....probably one of the backs.

Funny thing, my T/A started doing the same thing almost. Both lights [ Traction Control & ABS] come on now & then but stay on or off. Also headlight doors open when I start or shut off the car. I replaced the ABS relay under the hood, no help. HELP !

I had this same exact problem (Abs, Low Track and Brake light) about 2.5 months ago. I was told to pull off my ground terminals on the chassis by the Red Power Distribution Block and clean it and clean off the contact to the chassis, I did (my grounds were filthy). I also pulled the Ground between the Driver side light a the radiator and it seemed to solve this problem. It has not happened again since then.

Hope that helps,
Claude
