abs inop light turned off now ses light is on?

I have been driving my 97 lt1 camaro for a while with the abs inop light on and today it turned from abs inop to ses. Then when I hit the brakes the low traction light came on twice then didnt do it the whole way home. Does any one have any idea what happened? Could it just be a bad sensor or am I lookin at something worse?

You need to get the code(s) pulled. Autozone can pull the SES codes. Write'em down and post'em up.

(I think this is what it was called) second air injection malfunction I believe but I deleted the codes and the Abs Inop went off and so did the ses light. I think I have a vacuum leak because from the glove compartment I can hear a pssssssssss... What do you guys think it could be?

A hiss from that area of the dash would be the vacuum for the HVAC controls. Open things up so you can find the source of the noise.

I just read on another thread that it is the code 29 which is secondary air injection malfunction.

btw I have the fans grounded to stay on all the time and my mechanic took off the whole air intake to get to my thermostat to put a 160* in so could that have affected something? Those are the most recent things done which I do not know if that has anything to do with it.

does your SES light turn on as soon as your car does? or does it take a few minutes for it to turn on?

because i had the code 29, and it was just my air pump, ended up going bad, but i just unplugged the pump, and replaced the fuse, and now the SES light is gone.
