on my 93 z, the abs inop light flashes. when its doing this the abs system still works i hit the brakes hard and they dont lock. why is the light flashin? thanx for any help.

 

try unplugging abs comp leave about 15 sec. plug back in wont hurt anything somtimes resets the computor should make light go off if not take to shop and have them hook up the scanner be sure to tellem abs system some shops dont have abs scanner

 

I believe i read in the owners manual that if your abs light is on constantly then you have an abs problem. But if you abs light is flashing then you have a serious brake prob and you shouldnt drive the car. Not sure if I remember this right but look in your owners manual under the abs warning light and double check me.

 

i suppose i shouldve said that i have access to a tech 1 scan tool daily. the car pulls up an abs code a094. BUT I CANNOT FIND WHAT THIS MEANS. ANY1 HAVE ANY IDEA?? shoot, sorry for the caps there.
