I finally got my car back together with the new gears and all. Sweet not a bit of whine, really nice job. The ABS INOP light comes on now after you reach 5MPH(?). Could my sensor be bad? My car is a 94 Trans Am 3 channel ABS, I put 3.42 stock gears back in and a SLP take off carrier. And yes I did put the ABS ring on the carrier. Any help would be appreciated.

sensor is in poor alignment, dirty fluid, loose connection.

I don't even have a tone ring, and my abs light doesn't come on till you start moving, so the 5mph thing is what is expected.

 

What is the correction for the poor alignment? Can the sensor be realigned itself? The fluid is new, but I have to admit I forgot to wipe the sensor off when I cleaned out the pumpkin. I grenaded the rearend pretty bad, could the sensor lens be screwed up?
