ABS inop light

I have a 94Z with a 99SS wing and a Moser 9" and have the ABS inop light. I am not sure which is giving me the problem (maybe both), but I have heard that if the light is on that the ABS will not work. I know that there is some way around this and have heard a few people mention some cures , but I don't really know.

Can someone offer a little help.

Thanks,
James

I know this sound silly but check your 3rd brake lights. On my 94 TA when they were blown the ABS inop light came on. I replace them and the ABS light went away. It worked for me.

My abs inop light came on in my last camaro right before the power completely died a few days later because my alternator was completely shot to hell.

This one is easy. EVERYONE that owns a 93-95 LT1 (ODB1) experiences this with a 98+ SS wing. You basically have 2 things that u can do to fix it. Either add a relay or a resitor to the wiring. Do a search in the apperance section and type in " ABS INOP"

here i did the work for u

here u go 24

here u go 2

For more, just search in the Apperance section.
