Exclamation ABS INOP and BRAKE lights on

The last week or so my ABS INOP light would come on and when the car was turned off and back on it would go off. The other day I was driving and the pedal went to the floor so i let off and the ABS INOP and BRAKE light went on. When I reapplied pressure the brakes worked again but now the lights both come on and stay on when I start the car. I checked the fuses, did a visual inspection of the wiring and bled the brakes and it hasent helped. Any ideas? Im worried about driving the car like this.

Had the same problem, front pass. side caliper locked up. The slide pins where stuck, cleaned and repalced rotors and brakes, needed them anyway. It also blew the square resistor in the engine bay fuse box. Hope that helps?

I checked all the calipers and all is good there, checked 3rd brake lights, cleaned all wheel speed sensors and nothing. I also checked the ABS relay and it has the correct voltage in one position, how do you get the relay to switch to check the other position? I hope its not a bad ABS unit!?

How did you check all the calipers?

Problem fixed. We did a bleed on the right rear tire by using the pedal instead of the speed bleeder and I guess it dislodged the shuttle valve in the ABS which somehow got stuck in there. No more lights. Oh btw ishz28 I did a visual and operational check on all calipers.

Thanks, that's how I did mine. I was wondering if there was a better way.
