Abs Inop....
Abs Inop....
Brakes are not my specialty and I am clueless where to start.
OK, So, I changed out plug wires a couple of days ago and routed number 7 behind the abs sensor wire near the steering linkage to keep it away from the exhaust. I had to unplug it in order to do so. Now when driving the light pops on. Well all is well since I know where the problem is. But WHAT is the problem. I have two theories....
#1 - discharge from the wire has caused something... somewhere, but where and why would this happen with new wires?
#2 - Bad connection for the sensor plug. Where can I get a new one and about how much would it be?
Any other suggestion would be great. No ABS really sucks in our cars. I was clueless until I used it and it wasn't there. Right front tire locked up and scared the crap out of me!
Thanks everyone

so its the wire sending a bad pulse to the ABS computer fudging things up? Thats makes sense. Duh, I should have routed it somewhere else to begin with to take that out of the equation. Thanks for shedding light...
BTW: How do you know?
