installed scanmaster last week and upon installation I have got a abs and airbag light on now. Lights flashed inside car when scanmaster was installed. Is it something w/pcm like unplug computer for a while. Its on full time now, who knows maybe abs is going out on me. But why airbag light.. CONFUSED oh 94z28 m6

 

Have you tried resetting the codes to see if they return?

If the scanner software you are using won't do it, try pulling the fuse out for the PCM for a few minutes.

Also check the 15 amp air bag fuse #1 in the IP fuse block.

 

There's nothing inherent to installing a ScanMaster that would cause the AirBag and ABS lights to come on, or to cause other lights within the interior of the car to flash. How did you wire it up? If you're concerned that the wiring is wrong, simply disconnect the ScanMaster and see if the problems go away.

Correctly installed, the ScanMaster will not cause any problems at all.

 

Check and clean this ground as well as the one on the passenger side strut tower.

 

Yep check that ground first.
I had the same problem, I had taken them loose to clean under them and did not get it tight.
