At what time did tpis change there headers so they wouldn't hit the stearing?

Never.

If your knuckle has the 'rag joint' it will most likely hit. This can pretty easily be remedied with some cutting and welding if you are comfortable with that.

I thought they did. Well I was thinking of getting these off of ebay but seeing how much he dinted them to make em fit, I'm not so sure.

TPIS told me in December they were modifying their headers because of the steering problem.
I got them in February and they fit fine.
Mine's a 97 and I think the problem with the steering is with 93-95s so I can't say for sure if this has been fixed.

 

The tpis's with this dent are on ebay should I even bother bidding on them or should I just fork over the big bucks and get em new from tpis? That pic looks really bad to me. I guess I'll email tpis and see if they respond.
