About to start my 383

I'm finally almost done with my rebuild. It is a 383 with forged Eagle crank, SRP pistons and forged eagle H rods. I only have to hook up my off road pipe, put in my new computer from PCM for less, and fill it with fluids. My quesions is: should I just start it right up or prime it somehow? I did prime it a while back before I dropped it in the car but that was so long ago. About 3 months ago. Should I pull the coil wire or pull the fuse for the fuel pump or what?

if youve primed it and saw oil pressure on a gauge then your good to go. if you didnt use a pressure gauge then i would turn it over till you see pressure on a gauge. id say pull the coil wire and pull the fuel pump fuse.
