about to replace rms have a ??

about to replace rms have a ??

I'm about to replace my rear main seal and it looks like the adapter plate behind the rms is leaking as well. If I take that plate off and replace the seal would have to replace my oil pan gaskets as well??

Yep. The housing cannot be removed without removing the oil pan.

Thanks! So If i remove the oil pan do I need to remove timing cover as well....just trying to find out everything I need to do to get this done right with no leaks.

No, the bottom of the timing cover is the complement to the RMS. It comes off after the pan.
