About to mod this 96LT1 What else do I need?

Sort of new to the LT1 world. Car has basicaly Hooker LT/off road pipes/dump, CIA, OBDI Conversion, full suspention, 3.73 gears.
Here is what I have so far waiting for install. 224/236@114 CM Cam, springs/retainers, double roller timing chain, push rods. Ram clutch. Wet kit(with all safety stuff), autolite 103's, I plan on spraying 100shot. And tunercat waiting on the install.
What else do I NEED to toss into the combo? I dont have unliminted pockets. Actually very limited Just wondering what I'm missing. I hear a lot about ignition upgrades.
--What are they refering to?
--How good is the LT1 Fuel pump? Is it the same as the LS1?
--Are my LS1 98 injectors I have lying around any better than what is on my 96 car now?

Ignition upgrade- great for high hp cars, the only one out that offers one coil per cylinder:

Fuel pump: different. A lot of LT1 owners have problems with theirs. Racetronix offers a plug & play 255 lph pump through its vendors, thunder racing, more performance inc, etc.

Injectors: The ls1 injectors should be better. I think they're 28 lbs/hr, vs 24 lbs/ hr for 94-97 LT1s.

Ignition looks a little steep for me. So ignitoin is or is not a must?
Fuel pump huh. I guess i could toss that in the mix. I'm a cheapo so ill just pic up a Walbro 340 and install it...
Ill give the LS1 injectors a try also while i'm there. They have less miles if nothing else.
Thanks for the info!

LS1 injectors run at 58 PSI while your LT1 injectors run at 43 PSI. It would be better to pick up a set of motorsport 30#/hr injectors. Cheap and easy.

As far as the double roller timing chain goes, if you're using one for a roller SBC, then you will need an electric water pump because there will be no way to drive the stock water pump.

For the ignition, a 6A box and a window switch would probably be your best bet.

If I were to spray...I'd upgrade the fuel and ignition systems. Just to be safe.

Thats for me atleast, my fuel/ignition is getting a little old. I actually need to upgrade mine soon. I might spray later on(within a year or so), but I would deffinatly upgrade those.
