As far as I know the Lunati timing set is just a stock replacement (Junk) To much play in the chain. I wouldn't buy one.

I just installed an ED timing set when I put a new cam and lifters in. It is much stouter looking than the whimpy oem chain. I was pleased with it and the results so far. I defintely recommend it as the replacement option over what most have on there now. The down side it the price! $300 or around there (retail) is simply too much for a timing set.

Hint: replace the WP driveshaft assemby (as a unit that includes the gear) and don't just try to replace the WP gear (on the shaft). It is press fit on that shaft and no fun for the backyard mechanic to have to mess with. WP Shaft assembly GM#10219554 $37.31 / 2 "O" rings GM#12553792 @ $1

the assembly your talking bout is it the driveshaft assembly coming from the block like the waterpump gear? or are you refering to the actual shaft coming out of the water pump otself? thanks
