Good stuff, but I think he might be quite busy now. He said he's the most busy when the tax returns come in.

Follow up

Just as a follow up, I contacted Lloyd and he was very helpful. When time and funds permit, I am sure I will contact him again.

Tax refund. HA!

Took him a little over a week to do my heads. Shipping time on top of that.

But its worth the wait.

I've learned that in this business, whenever someone tells you a week, count on at least three weeks. It's not meant to be a negative reflection on Lloyd or anyone else, but things can and do happen which nearly always impacts these guy's ability to produce in limited timeframes.

Just passing on my experiences of late - take it for what it's worth.

Lloyds a great guy and you only hear good things about his work, wether or not UPS can take car of their part, isn't his fault!

I was told that they would take about 2 weeks, but my heads took nearly a month to get back. There was an illness in his family, which I can not fault him for. It is not like he is a company. I think that they were worth the wait but I have no numbers (besides flow numbers) for you. With my 224/230 cam my SS is like a new (way, way faster) car.

Shipping in itself is another topic. We all know UPS and the others screw things up ocassionally. The shipping of a product or service has nothing to do with the quality of the service, the person providing the service, or the reputation of the person providing the service. I've never implied or inferred that.

I've heard lots of good things about him all over different forums and when winter comes and my car sits in the garage my heads will be in the warm Texas weather :-)
