About to do Cam install, is this a complete list???

I am about to be doing a cam install on my 1994 Trans Am a4. I have pieced together what all I believe I need to do a FULL install.

Here is a list of what is already on the car:
K&N FIPK
1LE elbow
160 stat
Hooker Longtubes
Offroad open ypipe
Fully built 4L60-E tranny

Here is my list of what I plan on doing with the cam install:
233/239 .569/.576 111LSA Combination Motorsports Cam
Comp cams Pro-Mag 1.6 7/16 NSA roller rockers
7/16 ARP rocker studs
Comp cams R Lifters
EX components 612 valve springs
Ex components hardened pushrods
Combination Motorsports Cam gasket kit
VIG 3200 stall
Motive 3.73 gears
30# SVO injectors
Racetronix fuel pump
Jordon Musser LT1 tuning

Can you think of anything I missed?
And should this be a fairly stout setup, considering the heads are going to be stock?
Will this setup do good on a NX 150 wet shot?

Yeah, those come in the valve spring "kit", but that is good that you noticed it. I believe that I ahve everything covered, I just want to make sure.

ALready have the Comp cams guideplates.
And I am still trying to decide what type of Timing setup to go with. I believe I am leaning towards just a stock cam/crank sproket set and a stock LT1 timing chain. This way I don't have to swap over to a vented OPTI and I also don't have to run an electric water pump.
ANything else???

I was gonna go with the stock timing chain but was told it was a very bad idea if your going with a new cam. Id Def go with a new timing set if i was you.

Also man get that tranny cooler. Im running the 28000 GVW B&M

TexasTA I am in the same position as you I ordered a stock replacement chain thinking it would be enough but I think I will go with a aftermarket timing set just to be sure. What setup are you going with? I heard someone makes a single roller setup that is a direct swap for our 94 LT1`s with non vented opti but I haven`t found anything yet.

As for the list it lookslike you have everything pretty much covered. I also wentwith a bigger TB, I`m getting the stock one ported to 52mm and I see you`re going with a pretty big cam so maybe it`s something you should consider?

The Comp cams guideplates are not suited for the LT1 , although
people have used them ...but to do it right you need GM p/n - 14011051 ( they cost about $2.00/each)

Who ports the stock TBs to 52mm???

Also, has anybody had a factory replacement timing chain set break/malfunction with a cam this big?

Lastly, I was told by many people that the Comp Cams guideplates are fine to use. I also heard that they can "score" the pushrods. So I guess I will buy the GM guideplate and sell the COmp ones.

get the GM guide plates. Also people break the stock timing chain on stock motors why risk a good motor on a chain. Now is the time to make the switch to the vented opti since you are putting in a cam.

Actually it's pretty ironic I found a guy in Texas who does it for relatively cheap - 169$.

You can send him an email if youre interested:
