about to buy a camaro z28 1le

how much do you think a 1994 camaro z28 1le with 3100 miles on it spotless garage kept washed and waxed every weekend.. rarely driven the guy is a personal friends dads friend so i know all the facts are true. it has a lighter driveshaft, a cutom exhaust, and some type of aftermarket intake. everything is in showroom condition i've seen it. it has stock z28 rims.

i'd like to know your opinions so let me know

thanks,

Tim

Will help if you know more about the car. Some kind of this and some kind of that is no kind of help

A modded car is going to demand more money - before dropping said money, it's best you know what your buying.

I see that you are scopeing out that red one on Ebay. Just kidding. There was one on ebay with a buy it now for about 30k. It was in mint conditon with around 3000 miles. It was a 1LE and it looked like it was right off the showroom floor. Still had the window stickers in it and dealer plastic covers in the car. I dont think it sold for that much. It was at 12k the last time I looked at it with a couple of hours left in the auction.

I don't think I'd buy it unless I'd be willing to keep it in the same condition and that takes a BUNCH of work. Especially if you are going to drive it more often than the original owner. I'm sure he's not letting it go for cheap either...

I would think a completely stock, mint condition 1LE would be worth more than one that's been modified.

No longer a 1LE in my opinion. Why do people do that to SS's, WS6's, etc......?????

Doesn't make sense to me. Buy a base Z28 if you want to mod it for crying out loud.

Agreed. I will definately pay more attention to a car that is stock more than one which has been modified.

if it only has 3k miles on it that thing is worth more as a collectors piece than a driver. Id look for a different one if you plan on having fun with it, and not feeling guilty all the time.

I thought they were more expensive because they were optioned? I really don't know - I guess I just would expect them to be more.
