Question ? About 7/16 1.6 NSA Promags

How often do I need to adjust my Promags, or should I even need to? I've had them in for about 4 months, now I'm hearing alot of valve train noise comming from my driverside. I thought that the Polylocks would keep this from happening. How hard is it to adjust them? What do I need to do? Also when I had them installed I had them put in LT4 springs, but I kept the stock locks and retainers. Would this matter, or do I need to get the LT4 locks and retainers?

They don't need to be adjusted once they're set properly. It does't hurt to try setting them again and if the sound does't stop it most probably a bad lifter. Also, the LT4 springs are 1.33" which is a little wider than the stock 1.25", so yes the LT4 retainers are required, locks wouldn't matter.

I just replaced the lifters, they better not be bad. So if I do adjust the rockers again I should install the LT4 retainers?
