AAM Diff cover? how much does it help?

AAM Diff cover? how much does it help?
I have the AAM diff cover off my old SS, and dont really know what to do with it.
How much does it help over a stock cover? is it worth it to put it on my new SS? (new one didnt come with the torsen rear)

They only way it is better than the stock cover it may be more rigid and expell heat better because it is made of aluminum. But it doesn't compare to a TA type cover as far as strength. IMO
