My 95Z A4 has started shifting hard right at 3,000 RPM 1-2 & 2-3 shifts under light acceleration & the converter is not locking up. I checked the fuse under the hood that supposedly controls shift points & TCC but the fuse is fine. Any ideas?

You may want to get you fluid changed. Mine shifts like a dream since I had mine done.

Fluid was changed about 2,000 miles ago along with filter, PI converter & shift kit.

 

Replaced the TPS & problem is fixed.
