A4 problems... AGAIN!!

ok, well first off let me say that i have had problems with this tranny since i had it rebuilt. a friend of the family has a tranny shop and he also does alot of drag racing so i figured he'd know how ta build a nice strong tranny. well in the 18,000 some odd miles ive had the damn thing i have had to take it back ta get misc. problems fixed. ( about 5 times) well the latest problem is when i put it in reverse it engages but i have ta press the gas to get it to move, and when it does finnaly gets moving and i release the gas, its like the brake is on. so i fiddle-dicked with the e-brake and such, but no fix. theni i noticed that if its in neutral, it will creep forward, and with a little gas it will creep upi to about 10 mph. a machanic pal of mine said drive up an incline put it in nutral, and release the brake. well it will roll back but really slowly, so i turned the car off like he said ta do on the same incline and right when i shut it off it was like i released the brakes or something. anybody know if i can fix this myself or not?? sorry for the long post, im just at my witts end.

Line pressure may be too high or clutch packs set up too tight.
Sounds like another tear down to me.

Are you sure the transmission cable is indexed properly?

yes, im sure that the cable is correct. i crawled under the car this afternoon and put the console selector in neutral and then disconnected the cable, made sure the tranny was in neutral, double checked that the consol was still in neutral and everything fit up ok. after doing all this i tested it out again and the same thing all over again, but this time i noticed that when i pull it out of park it makes kind of a clunk coming out of park, like if your parked on a hill and dont pull the e-brake and the car is held by the park brake in the tranny. so i guess i'll call my tranny guy and have him ATTEMPT to fix it once again. has any1 else ever had this much trouble with their tranny??
