From another site that I read where the guy had a stage III and IV ceramic he said he couldn't even tell a difference between the 2. I have the stage III and it takes a little while to get used to but its VERY streetable. You just need to break it in and learn how to slip it and the chatter will go away.
Different. The mounting point for the M6 is back further. BTW, if you are looking for a cheap stock clutch, pp and to bearing, I have on I will part with for about 65. It was only used 3 months then the guy wrecked the car.
Thanks for all the tips guys! I contacted the ebay seller and bought the kit for $1800. The trannys coming out of a 94 Z28 with 50k miles that had been totaled from a side impact. The guy said that it was somewhat driveable and that the tranny had been run through the gears and had no grinding problems of any sort. Wahoooooo six speed here I come!!
Now all I need to decide on is what clutch I'm gonna go with. .. I dont want anything harsh as the wife sometimes drives the car and I dont think she could handle one of the on/off type clutches. I estimate that right now with the auto I'm at about 345 - 360 rwhp as the last dyno netted 335 rwhp and I've done a few things since then like better tuning and offroad pipe. I dont anticipate on going to the track but once a year if that, so I would like something that has a really close feel to stock but could hold up to my power level on the street and an occasional pass or two at the track.
