I'm at 140 psi for max. in my upper throttle range. Just wondering what you can run without blowing seals out.

max tranny pressure is a bad thing, unless you wanna blow up a tranny. i just rebilt mine because my pressure was too high. it either blows up the hard parts of the tranny (metal drums and stuff) or it eats the clutches up.

i think 140 is as high as you can go, but i think you should just lower is to stock and put in a shift kit.

the 4l60e is the worst trannt for mods and high spinning motors. the tranny cannot compensate for it. i had mine rebuilt by LT1DAVE and i love it. infact i looked around and there are only 5 people i know of that can rebuild a 4l60e correctly to handle 550 hp and 11 second passes~!!

i have a vaccum moduleation valve in my transmission (rebuild) and it controls the pressure and how hard it shifts by engoine vaccum. lite throatle means lite shift

wot = kiss your rear goodbye~!

anyways, i knwo i didnt answer your question, but i hope i can save your tranny life with my advice

That seems like a cool option. I hate having to de-program the shift firmness whenever it rains because the hard shifts can easily make the rear tires spin. Also, when turning, and there is any kind of moisture on the road, the hard shifts are dangerous because the tail kicks out. I'll have to look for that when I get a rebuild, Thanks.
