hi, my brother has a 93 Z28 M6 and broke the posi unit. We were wondering if the posi unit out of a 99 Z28 will work.

if ur just using the posi unit then yup.... u can really use the entire rear, just check if u got 4 or 3 channel abs, and tcs

 

thanks, he bought the whole rearend and said they are a little different. On his 93 it has the round rod pin that holds the c clips in and on the 99 it has a different setup. he also said the abs stuff is different.
