98 SS sway bars on a 94 Z-28 / bushing size?
I have a set (front and rear) of 98 SS sway bars. I have a 94 Z-28. I am going to purchase some polyurethane bushings and end links. What length end links will I need and what size bushings will I need to buy (front and rear)? Jegs has the bushings in sizes 3/4 al the way through 1 3/4. The end links range from 1 5/8 to 4 1/2. I need to buy 2 sets of end links (front and rear) and I need to buy 2 sets or bushings (front and rear). which ones do I need for my application. Any body runnin 98 SS sway bars with polurehtane bushings? Do you like it. Is it worth it?
You shouldl make this post in the suspension section and youll get more responses.
The rear sway bar is the same, 19mm... dont bother swapping it. Just upgrade your bushings if youre motivated.
The front bar should be a 32mm bar. That is about 1.26", so a 1.25" bushing should work fine. I am not sure about endlink length.
I am running a 32mm front bar... its alright, but not a night and day difference.
