97 z28 long tube headers vs. brake/fuel lines

i'm wondering if anyone else has had problems with the brake/fuel lines that run along the driver's side of the car touching the header y-pipe and having to re-route them. i can't imagine this is a good thing if not outright dangerous. the brake lines i've been able to bend enough to route them away so i think they'll be ok, but the fuel lines are still right there and i'm worried about it. i've insulated them, but the insulation is still in contact with the pipe. attached pics to hopefully better explain the situation...

fuel lines sleeved/insulated still but on the y-pipe

brake lines re-routed...

factory bracket doesn't seem to help much

My exhaust is a bit further away from the lines, I had no issue without heat protection, but I will be wrapping that section of exhaust with header wrap to help protect the lines.

'96 Z28, Kooks headers and y pipe. There is slightly less than an index finger width between the frame rail and exhaust pipe. About the same with lowest brake line. Been like this for 10 years. No trouble.
