97 Z28 with 5.7 pre-ignition/ping

I am hearing mild pinging. Using regular gas. Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks.

Regular has never touched my gastank, that could be your problem right there. Most people suggest 91 or higher, I stay 93 or higher

(94 at sunoco is the highest around me).
