Your waterpump is above your optispark. Make sure you didnt disturb any wires or if you dumped masive amounts of coolant onto it and it got inside it could mess with the ignition. Any codes popping up?

Wow got confused between the engines? well if you have stock lt1 then these suggestions may help.

Deleting the AIR system will not prevent it from starting. You did plug up the AIR connections on the manifold, correct?

In replacing the front seals, did you remove and reinstall the Otpispark distributor? If so, are you sure you indexed the Opti correctly to the cam dowel pin?

Yep the exhaust manifold got plugged, I thought I lined the Opti back up properly as it monted flush with the block(or timing cover).... can the Opti also be flush if the dowl was located into the other 2 holes in the back of the Opti??

Yes, although most people only manage to do that by pulling the Opti down flush with the bolts.

Just one possibility. Are you sure all the wires to the ICM/coil are intact and in good condition? Have you scanned it for codes? Problems with the Opti (excluding indexing) and ICM will set codes during cranking, and not turn on the SES light.
