97 SS stolen

I know this isn't LT1 tech but just wanted to share, on 10/15/04 some dirty rotten SOB stole my 97 SS not long after I had installed all my suspension stuff. Now I have to wait 30 days to see if the car can be found, then I have to fight with the insurance company about the all the money I just spent.

I live in Delaware. What's it look like, any markings to set it apart? What was the tag number? Alot of times idiots who joyride leave the tags on so they are easy to pick up.

It was a bright red hard top with a broken drivers side manual mirror dark tinted windows SLP weld in frame connectors which hang down a little below the rocker panel and it has two tone cloth seats and door panels which are charcoal & red.

So in other words it's not easily distinguishable from the outside other than the frame connectors? I'll keep an eye out just incase since i live 2 miles from the maryland border. People who steal cars like to leave the state. Was the top red or black? Any rims?

Bummer, that sucks big time! The money you just spent shouldn't be a problem though, as long as you have receipts...everytime I've ever had a claim, and recent receipts, they matched them dollar for dollar. If it comes to that, don't be afraid to refuse their intial offer or talk to State regulatory agency if you have questions/concerns about how fairly you're being treated. Good luck!
