97 Mid lengths on a 94?

Would I run into any dificulties putting Mac Midlengths off a 1997 Camaro on my 1994 Formula? I know normally 97s are dual cat, but he said it comes with the y-pipe, so I'm assuming his car was converted to single cat.

If this is the set in the for sale section, I asked him how this setup worked and he didn't reply or send me pictures. The 96-97 design is completely different from the 94-95 setup. The 96-97 will not fit a 94-95 y-pipe, so I'm guessing he's had a custom y-pipe made. Personally, I'd wan't to see pics of the exactly how this system works (on the car would be best). You also need to find out if the y-pipe is designed to mate to a 96-97 cat back or the 93-95 cat back. One last thing, I would actually go the other way for best performance. I've got a 97, and if you look at the pictures of shorty headers for it, they are really short. The 94-95 shortys are actually mid-lenght and should flow better. Go to http://www.macperformance.com/store/...ategory_ID=567 for pics of the systems for the different years.
