96 z28 camaro lt1

i have two error codes one is mutiple cylinder misfires.. and the other is the mass air flow sensor is bad could it cause the mutiple cylinder misfires..

Need more information,are the original wires still on the car?How does the car run if you unplug the maf?

it has new wires and plugs.. yes it does run a little better if i unplug the MAF sensor.. if it's pluged in and i take it down the road it starts sturting and missing until it gets to a highter rmp..

Start by cleaning the maf,and dont use brake cleaner..They make a maf sensor cleaner.
