96 ws6 throwing codes after header install

posting this for a friend:

After the header install I have been getting codes: PO410 AIR System, and one that does not exist in any book that have: PO409 EGR flow. The AIR system is intact and operates, but is not connected at the fittings. Here is the set up: Pacesetter LT's,ORP, O2 simms,Denso O2's in the front.Why/what is this code PO409 not listed anywhere?Any help would be appreciated. What year is your friends LT1? The OBD-II (96/97) diagnostics seem to be able to tell that the system is not connected to the manifolds. Often, programming the operation of the system out of the PCM is the only way to cure it.

Are you sure that you have no leaks? I believe that I have read that leaks around the EGR tubes will cause those codes. I also read something about someone using some type of copper sealant to solve the problem. I have a 96 GM F-body manual set. I will try to look up the P409 for you.
